I’m looking to paint the ceiling light fixture in my baby’s bedroom. I am doing a Dr. Seuss theme and I haven’t been able to find a ceiling light fixture and that’s what I want. So, I want to know if it’s possible to do and if so what type of paint is safe to use (non toxic, non flammable and so on) to paint Dr. Seuss characters on it. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My kitchen ceiling is not very dirty, but it’s got a thin layer of grease/dust covering most of it. I’ve been using a step ladder and a sponge to clean it, which has turned out to be an efficient method, but it’s also time-consuming and tiring.

I’m thinking of just using a mop to clean it.

This lady I’m working for is getting someone to remove her ceiling fan and wants me to put a projector their. I’ve replaced power outlets before but I’m no electrician, do they use the same voltage? I’m taking every safety precaution, I know this can be dangerous otherwise.

I painted our room out of order and now im trying to figure out to paint the ceiling without messing up the walls. Is there a method or device that i can use to paint the ceiling without hitting the walls? The walls took me forever so im trying to not put tape on anything.

There are also some grayish small spots all over the ceiling and walls in other areas of the basement. Are these related? Is this caused by mold? Moisture? How is it treated? Is it dangerous as far as breathing?
I do have two large drying racks where I line dry all my clothes down there.

I bought some curtain rods and holders from Ikea to hang curtains around my bed. The holders need to be screwed into the ceiling. What kind of screws do I need to make sure it doesn’t fall out? The whole contraption will probably way between 5-10 pounds.

I bought my home (condo) seven years ago and it is now about twenty years old, which is fairly new. And i had to replace a six foot piece of corroded gas line because of dripping water from a hot water line that was never properly secured. they charge me 0.00 to replace the gas line and still have to replace the water lines that have corroded. is the condo development at fault since the water pipes were never properly sealed? all these pipes were inside the ceiling so any inspection that i did would not have revealed this problem. i live in brick town new jersey. any advise welcomed.
